How can you tell the position of your baby?

How can you tell what position the baby is laying in? I’m 28 weeks and curious because everyone on here are talking about their babies position

Mine jumps and spinn around like a gymnast on speed. Only time I know is when I have had an ultrasound.

I can tell he is head down because of his hiccups 🙂

I knew he was head down since 18 weeks because how much pressure I had in my pelvis and we confirmed it at my 20 week ultrasound and 27 weeks. He also kicks up by my ribs and hiccups are low!

I can tell where mine is by the different movement. The softer ones are arms/hands and the hard ones are legs/feet. A few days ago baby was head down and I could feel little fingers very very low and the hard kicks were in my ribs. Now baby is head up again and the hard kicks are very low. I also get more heartburn when baby is head up.

I knew the moment my baby went head down by the amount of pressure I was feeling just slightly above my belly button and how hard it was. When he flipped horizontally I felt his legs to the left and head to the right just by the force of his kicks. My son is very active at 28 weeks 4 days and is very strong so there's no denying where his little feet are.

I could never tell with my first or with this one. I go in for ultrasounds every two weeks so I usually ask the tech.
