Does anyone had first delivery as C- Section and next delivery normal ?

I recently had a baby boy. I went through labour pain for 8 hours and have to go through C - Section. As my baby pulse going down, after observing for 2 hours they decided to do C- Section. Everybody saying if we had C - Section in first delivery then subsequent pregnancies end up having C - Section. I love to have kids but am worried if I have to go through C - Section, it is hard to recover. Please share your experiences, it would be very helpful...:
