Any experience of Queen Charlotte hospital in Acton?

I just wondered if anyone had any experience of giving birth at Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea hospital in Acton/Shepherd’s Bush? I’m a first time mum and due to various factors would be giving birth in a labour ward rather than midwife led birth unit. The consultants and midwives I’ve met at my antenatal appointments have all been excellent but I’m conscious the labour ward may be very different.

I had my 2 girls there and about to have the 3rd (son) In less than 3 weeks, in fact I was also born there too, but the hospital was in Stamford broke back in the 80s, great hospital, cant fault it.

Yep! I had my first there. The maternity unit has just been rated outstanding by the CQC. My birth wasn’t the nicest because my son was in a funny position... but the staff were generally pretty good. I was on the labour ward too. I had a GREAT midwife on the postnatal ward
