My mom is so far up bf and I’s asses about turning in apartment papers. We were going to turn them in last Monday, then she said we absolutely needed his paystub so we HAD to wait until last Friday when he finally got paid for the first time since starting his job, but then realized she wasn’t working and nobody was in the office to take them that day. My mom got pissed off and went off on me. We were going to turn them in today, and bf called to make sure it was still available, and they said it was but to turn them in tomorrow because they’re doing monthly bank stuff today. My mom got even more pissed off and accused my bf of slacking off for the 3rd time, saying he doesn’t care about moving in with me. Literally how??? The lady we’re in contact with is being SO nice to us and making sure we have everything gathered together to make sure we get the place. My boyfriend is the one providing everything for me right now and my mom is trying to take advantage of him like he HAS to pay and take care of me. No, that’s NOT how this works. She knows he has money and she wants so badly to take control.

NOW she’s up my ass about me going with him to drop them off. I really don’t understand why. Yes mom, I understand we’re getting the place TOGETHER . You’ve told me 10000 times already. Just get the fuck off our backs already!!!! She’s completely ruining this for us by how anal she’s being!!! 😡😡😡 It’s not the motherly concern or advice either. It’s straight up 100% rude and disgusting behavior I’m tired of being around. “Oh, I’m just excited for you”. No, you’re trying to take control over this part of my life like every other party you have.

Plus she constantly talks about her coming over to sleep whenever she wants because “I’m the one helping pay your groceries, I’m allowed whenever I want.” Of course she’d hold that over my head. By the way, she’s NOT paying for our groceries. She can’t just butt into our lives when we have jobs and colleges to worry about. Of course I’d love for her to come over and stay, but NOT every single week!!! I know for a fact if I left her alone in our apartment, she’s starting digging through EVERYTHING.
