My little boy got a late start on breastfeeding. He is only 5 days old. It didn’t eat really for 36 hours due to a very traumatic birth. He is very sleepy when feeding. I have been trying to allow him to nurse but he is lazy about it. I have now been pumping and bottle feeding.

My biggest concern is the dr said he should be having about 5 wet diapers at this point. Today we gave only had two. We saw a dr today and he didn’t seem concerned but disinterested in our visit in general (we were dissatisfied and will be going elsewhere )

At what point should I be concerned.
