He weighed 7lbs 5oz and was 19 1/2 inches long.

I went in for an induction at 830 pm on the 18th. My water broke at 11 naturally. We started to push at 2 Pm the following day and my cervix wouldn’t move. We finally got it to move and then I pushed for an hour and a half. Baby was not budging. I ended up with an infection and fever due to the length of time my water had been broken. Baby’s heart rate was raising and they were worried things would go real south if we didn’t get him out.

About 30 min after deciding to do a c-section he was here. My husband and I were in tears as we heard his cry for the first time.

It was the biggest whirlwind of my life and I can’t believe that I am a mama. 💙 Hugs to all of you that are still waiting the birth of their August baby.
