How soon do you test?

Anyone else ovulate on aug 20th and how soon are you guys testing? I’m just so anxious and so over these negative tests😣

Answer

I refuse to test prior to 12dpo. It’s pretty much a waste before 10dpo minimum since about 80-85% of implantation happens between 8-10dpo. Since it takes a minimum of 2 days after implantation for a test to show positive, it’s very unlikely to get a positive prior to 10-12dpo. 
If you do test sooner, don’t bother prior to 8dpo since the minimum amount of time it takes for a fertilized egg to make it down the Fallopian tube and implant in the uterus is 6dpo. It’s not worth it to waste a test if you know for sure when you ovulated.

I also ovulated around that time, either 20/21 August. Im also anxious to test but going to wait. 
Do you have any symptoms? 
I've had hot flashes (not sure if it's cause I took femara this cycle), dry mouth/ really thirsty, moody (again not sure if it's the femara) and random weird achy feelings a few days ago in my uterus. 
Its so hard not to symptom stop! 😣
