We always try to BD before and after the fertile window. I think I was more concerned about his sperm not building up too long, more so than making my body ready. I only bought the OPKs the once because I found there was really no point in using them. We were BD before, during, and after my fertile window regardless. It works for us any ways. If only the pregnancies would stick. I always thought just waiting for ovulation to BD was a bit risky.
