Teen daughter and tampons

Quick question for everyone. My daughter is soon to be 13. She’s been getting her cycle since about May. She’s very intelligent, and not naive at all when it comes to menstruating, sex, and sex education. Over the summer she went to a all girls camp and took part of a course called My Life, My Journey. We’re always open about what she learned and I’m always available for feedback and questions. Well this week I’ve finally ally got my cycle back after almost 4 years. I’ve had 2 babies and still nursing. Well she saw that I was buying tampons and asked if they hurt. I told her not when placed properly. She stated they just seem like they’d be uncomfortable since they’re up there. I told her no. She asked when she can start using

Tampons. I told her we’ll discuss that during our Friday mom and teen date. So ladies I need inputs please. I didn’t start using tampons until I was 16. Tampons were taboo in my mom. So was period y’all and sex talk. Most likely why I was pregnant at 17. I want to provide my daughter with honest and educational information. I know every girl is different and comfortable at different ages. So please some I input would be great!!
