My fiancé and I were taken by surprise this month when his employer said they’re restructuring his store and his position will be taken away by the end of the month. (A position we MOVED here for last November)

He was given the choice of a severance package (a small one) or to find a new position elsewhere in the company.

Ultimately he got a job offer in the same city we moved from last year. THIS IS A BLESSING.

Here’s the kicker though -

1.) Our lease here isn’t up until Oct. 31st (spooky)

2.) I don’t start maternity leave until the 6th of September

3.) I have to stay here alone until baby comes :( he has paternity leave he can use after

OMG aim so incredibly stressed. This is our first child and I feel like his employer STOLE my sanity.

The move will ultimately put us further away from my parents, whilst putting us back in the same town as his parents. Which is awesome but I feel like my parents are going to loose out on Grand baby time :(

And now we have to HAVE A BABY, FIND A NEW PLACE, and MOVE all within the first few months of his life :(

Honestly I know I shouldn’t be complaining because life could be so much worse. We could be jobless, without both of our family’s support.

I’m just bummed I don’t get to just relax with my child right away.

And I’m scared to be alone. So incredibly tired.
