Nesting?

Is nesting a real thing or is it just feeling like you want to prepare for baby because I’ve already started at 13 weeks stripping wallpaper off ripping carpets out for new ones ?? Hate leaving everything last minute and want to do things just now while I’m still able to move about

Nesting and wanting to clean were different things to me. Wanting to clean was easy early on, by 28 weeks I had the nursery finished, the house spotless, clothes washed and put away, etc. I’m 35 weeks now and was hit today with this.. panic that everything needs to PERFECT AND SPOTLESS. I have zero energy, but I’m trying my best to clean and organize and pack bags and all that fun stuff. So I think the difference is actually wanting to clean, nesting is more of I want to sleep but I HAVE to clean. 😂

I never had the nesting urge. I was too tired and sick.

Currently have a serious urge to keep everything spotless and clean with soap and waiting on my FIL to clean out the bedroom that’s going to be our nursery it’s driving me up the wall... 26 weeks tomorrow and I believe i have officially started the nesting process lol.

nesting for me was sleeping all day and then waking up and eating a lot then going right back to sleep
