First let me start out by saying I NEVER and I repeat never had anxiety like this before becoming pregnant. Fast forward all my minor anxiety worries to our 20 week u/s the doc told us they saw a choroid plexus cyst. She didn’t seem too worried and told us they are super common but then she brought up genetics. It wasn’t my normal doctor so it was such a short meeting that I didn’t have time to ask all the questions I would have normally liked. I texted my doctor and he said they are “no big deal” and isn’t actually happy with how the doc at the appointment explained it to me.. I read about them and understand they are pretty common but I can’t stop my brain from going to a dark place sometimes. Have any of you experienced being told about a cyst at 20wk u/s???
