Was gonna wait to tell my mom but she knew right away! Was able to surprise my older brother and his wife though. It was so special, my brother cried! After we lost my little brother (25yo) last year in a fatal car accident, we’ve all been wanting something positive to look forward to. What’s even crazier is his anniversary of the day he passed was July 28th. I found out I was pregnant July 29th... so I just feel like this baby is so protected and loved, and that this is a new chapter for not only my husband and I, but our whole family!

I can’t explain it, but I feel “safe.” I had a chemical pregnancy back in May so the fear of loss is always there. But currently 8w1d and I know my little brother is watching over this little one! Not one single day has passed that I don’t think of my brother, he was my best friend. But I know he’s our guardian angel now! 😇
