positions

so me and my boyfriend are both kinda new at sex, we havent tried many positions, but he said next time he wants me to get on top. we’ve never done it like that before and i just feel uncomfortable with doing that bc that means like i’m doing all of the work, and im also really self conscious of my body and i dont wanna be like bouncing on him and hurt him. i really like when he is on top bc i like to have our bodies pressed against each other and i like having his face near mine so i can hear his breathing bc it really turns me on, and i like to be able to kiss him. so should i try to go on top, or should i tell him im not ready? i dont wanna disappoint him.
