Did u send out invites for baptism?

FTM here. My son is getting baptized this month and will he 7 months. Looking for any tips for baptism. Did you guys have to make meals too? Any ideas for food or did your church handle that for you?

My little one is getting baptised this month too. I’ve sent out formal invites and booked a reception for after. I’ve paid for a buffet to be provided then it will be but own drinks at the bar

Yes, we sent formal invites and had a party afterwards that my in-laws hosted. Your church will not provide food or anything after the ceremony. We did Italian stuff (antipasto, stuffed shells, meatballs and sausages and a deli tray) and had a cake 🧁
