Scared

Did anyone not see a gestational sac at 4 weeks 4 days? I have another us scheduled at 5 weeks. I have been having a pinching sharp pain in my right hip buttock and upper thigh area. I went to the er and they did an ultrasound and seen nothing. Granted the tech that did the ultrasound was not very thorough. He was just like here's the uterus here your ovaries all done. Like literally a 3 min ultrasound. HCG was 2600 today and is rising really well it was 949 on Friday. I am trying to be optimistic but the doctor said there is a chance that this pregnancy is ectopic. I am just trying to be positive and hopeful that it was just too early.
