Throw out or sell? *UPDATED*

Alright so I have a Graco inclined lounger. This exact one

My daughter has far outgrown it, but it is a similar style of sleeper that has been recalled lately and I'm just wondering if I should sell it because it hasn't been recalled or trash it because it's a similar style? My gut says throw it out but at the same time I'm not 100% sure

Okay since you ladies can't seem to read, this sleeper has NOT been recalled, but it is a similar style to those that have. The fact that you ladies think I would sell a recalled product is sad.

I spoke to the owner of a secondhand store and she said that these types of products are banned and they will probably be issuing a recall soon

This model isn’t recalled ladies. She 
actually IS concerned about others that’s why she’s asking this question. 
Personally I’d probably toss it. If your gut says it shouldn’t go to someone else then spare yourself the worry.

Personally I would keep it. The rock and play was recalled due to deaths from misuse - the babies were left alone and/or weren’t secured properly. As long as you’re using it properly there should be no issues.

I donated my rock and play to a local group that gives things out to families in need. They gave it out with the caveat that it had been recalled and to practice safe sleep and never let baby sleep in it unattended. I know your product was not recalled, but I’d probably handle it the same way since they are so similar.

Since it’s not the one that has been recalled then it should still be as safe as when you used it with your daughter. So I would just sell it. Or keep it Incase you decide to have another baby.

No, I have this same one.  It can also go flat, which is why I got it.  As long as you only use it for supervised naps it's fine.  Since it wasn't recalled, you could definitely sell it if you're all done with it.

Try to sell it. My friend told me the fisher price one was recalled because of the angle of it. So the angle of this is different and safe.

If you want to sell it, maybe put on the advertisement that it is not meant for overnight sleeping, just for lounging or day napping? I don't see a problem with it, just let the buyer know that it's not for night time and maybe explain about the one that was recalled. If they decide not to buy it after that then that's good because they intended to use it in an unsafe way.
