What do new moms really want as a gift?

My in law is a couple months pregnant now. We’re throwing her a gender reveal party as well as a separate birthday party. I have no idea what to get her as I want something that will be useful and make things easier for her as a new mom. What do new moms really want? 😁

If you’re looking to get something for her, and not the baby....
My best friend got me a gift card to get a massage and honestly that hour of my life was amazing and so needed.
I also received a gift card to get a pedi which was also amazing.
New moms are tired and often neglect themselves.
I made a “post baby” basket for one of the friends a few years ago.... I put some comfy pants in there with her favorite bottle of wine and few face masks and bath salts along with some dry shampoo and other things.

Has she made a registry yet? I’d buy off that or maybe just diapers as a gift for now until she has a shower.

If it’s for her birthday get something non baby related.. it’s her birthday just wait to buy things at her baby shower or maybe get her a gift for just herself and a tiny thing for bub
