Interracial Couples 🖤❤️

Anybody in an interracial relationship and get backlash for it? I'm 27 and this is my first interracial relationship. I'm white & he's black and we live in a small town in lower Alabama (I hate it here 🙄) He is literally my best friend and this is by far the best relationship I've ever been in. I have kids from a previous marriage and he doesn't have any, but he treats mine like they're his and they love him. Their dad on the other hand, is a racist ass hole, and is always telling them to come back and call me names like "Mud shark" or N***** lover*. Due to the fact that they actually know my boyfriend and love him, they never do, they just come to me and tell me the things that he says. Outside of that, we've got a few looks around town here and there. I've never been one to care what other people think, and I still don't, especially when it comes to this bc I know the bond me and him have, it just hurts my heart for him bc he is such an amazing person 😩 I just want to hear other stories and how y'all handle it.
