Midwives brew?

Anyone ever tried the midwives brew? Did it work?!
Edit: I’m not planning on drinking it, I had just never heard of it until tonight and was interested to see if people actually drank it. I hate tea so I probably wouldn’t be able to even swallow it. Lol

No because it contains castor oil which is actually really dangerous.

yep i did. 40w3d chugged it at 10pm, started contracting 2 hours later. went to l&d and was still at 1 cm with contractions about 15 mins apart. went home and couldn’t sleep, went back into hospital at 4am and was 5 cm with contractions 2-3 mins apart. had my son 10 hours later that day. it worked for me, it did not make my baby poop in me and i actually did not poop till 5 days postpartum. do i recommend it? no. i can only share with you my experience and what worked for me. people will tell you not to do it, but personally dont let anyone tell you what to do. do what you think is best for you and your baby at the end of the day.
