Super sad

Me and my husband decided to start trying in August , I told my husband this is the only month we’re trying and if I don’t get pregnant we’re going to stop trying and restart trying next year. I am 9dpo , I took a pregnancy test today and it is negative 😩😢. I know it’s early and I’m 6 days from my period BUT I am feel so discouraged right now! Anyone else feel like this too? I just feel sad!!! I also know that I could continue to keep trying if I want to but I just don’t want to get my hopes up for nothing!
