So how would y’all feel if your SO’s mother and sister said that they were going to plan a baby shower for you guys but then ask us to buy everything (decorations, food, etc.)

it’s frustrating because if you know that you can’t afford to plan a baby shower, why say that you are going to plan one? i don’t know if anybody feels the same way but it really just pisses me off. i have held my tongue about it and i will continue to but it’s like don’t say you’re gonna do something and then expect us to do everything and you not do a damn thing.

i just had to vent about it somewhere because i can’t vent about it to my SO or his mother or my family.
