Cheating partner?

Has anyone ever forgave a cheating partner and  it worked out fine in the end? My boyfriend just cheated on me and we have a 5 month old son together. 
He’s told me it was a mistake blah blah blah I’ve chose to see if we can work through things but I can’t stop thinking about it

You’re going to get a lot of high and mighty women on here telling you to leave him and he ain’t shit... but the truth is that no one knows your life but you. Only you can make that decision. If you leave, it won’t be easy... if you stay, it won’t be easy. You need to pick your hard.

Yes. But it takes months and a long time to get over. It takes open honesty, phones and passwords available at all moments and no dely of giving over the phone. (That feeling of constantly checking eventually went away) it takes a real change and tons of communication. It takes a re-evaluation of ones self and working to make a real change. It takes owning your mistake in everything and not passing off the blame on others. If he is blaming, he doesnt take responsibility. People can change but if hes not taking a serious stand on changing himself then he wont change.

I took one cheater back, huge mistake. Since then it’s a huge no no 🤷🏼‍♀️. I think it is completely possible for a relationship to change for the better if you both work on it. Cheating is a horrible thing... but it can be forgiven and you can move past it if you work hard.

Yes but you have to make him fight for you all over again he has to do whatever it takes to gain your trust back also play hard to get with him don’t be easily forgiven what he has done make him feel a little pain too then you will see if he really wants to change and be with you but at the end of the day don’t put your life in a mans hands always be able to stand on your own and never get too comfortable because things do t always go as we want them to some ppl change some don’t if he does it again it will happens third time and you will see that he wasn’t sorry don’t let him manipulate you see if he goes above and beyond to get your relationship back on track and if it doesnt happen again good but if it does save yourself the heartache trust me he will keep cheating
