How did you know you were going into labor?

Not sure if it’s possible to just experience full on labor contractions before water breaking or losing your mucus plug first but please share! I’m due next month with my first!

I went to sit down, felt a pop, went to the bathroom and had my bloody show. Baby came 4 hours later,

They had to break my water during labour at 9cm dilated

I woke up to contractions. I waited it out for about 6 hours until they got intolerable then was admitted the hospital. They broke my water after I got the epidural. I never lost my mucus plug. Maybe that came out with the water breaking? No clue.

I never lost my mucous plug and My dr broke my water in the hospital. I had contractions at home that became five mins apart lasting a minute long so that’s when I went to the hospital.

Hahaha. My water didn’t break till 10cm and it burst all over the doctor. 😂 Totally possible! I was 38 weeks to the day started cramping and feeling off at 8 PM by 10:38 PM my son was born. I was having full contractions in active labor with my no broken water or lost mucus plug. You’ll know when you are in labor, I didn’t believe that cause obviously had no idea what to expect but you really will. Don’t worry about mucus plugs or even if you are slightly dilated early. People can sit at 1-3cm dilation for weeks or months without being in labor.

I lost my mucus plug for three weeks. They regenerate so usually mean nothing unless blood tinged or followed by consistent contractions. I went into labor at 39+ 1 . I started having contraction consistently 3-5 minutes apart, went into hospital two hours later and was four cm dilated. Gave birth 5 hours later. They had to break my water. I was dilated to 9 cm when they broke it

First time I woke up with contractions.  Second time my water broke. 3rd time I was having Braxton hicks all day and my husband convinced me to go to the hospital even though I didn't think I was in labor.

I started off having light contractions. Wasn’t until later in the day that they started getting stronger that I realised that they were contractions. They pretty much just felt like period cramps all around my lower abdomen but everyone is different. Good luck
