Would u be offended if MIL didnt call u or ur mom after birth?

If you gave birth, would u get mad if MIL didnt call u or ur mom to congratulate? Yes its her grandchild too so it shouldnt matter which grandma congratulates who first, but if ur the one who gave birth wouldnt it be nice or expected for his mom to call u or ur mom to wish u guys well/show she’s happy that u made it out ok? Thoughts?

For some extra info, too lazy to type out lol. Someone said I shouldnt expect my in laws to stay in touch w my parents. Info is down below. Also, my mom has done her part trying to keep in touch, most of the time my mil wont return her call, then when she sees her she says “ohhhh where have u beeennn.” All her kids are grown, she isn’t too busy to talk otp for 5 mins once in a while esp if she has no problems tagging along to my parents house whenever hubby and I go to their state to visit. I would prefer there were no ties btwn the two families, at least we could enjoy my time with my parents without her coming too.
