Unexplained post partum fever

I’ve been running a fever of between 99.2-100.5 for 7 days now (off and on throughout the day), and I delivered my daughter via csection 11 days ago.. I had blood drawn to check for infection two days ago, and the doctor said my white blood cell count isn’t that of someone with an infection. He told me to call back if my fever got to 101. I have been taking Tylenol & ibuprofen to break my fevers. My incision looks fine, and isn’t red or draining.

The doctor is being little to no help, and I’m starting to worry..

Has this ever happened to anyone else??
