Mom getting stressed

So, this is half rant half question. I was trying to get ready to go to a very strict appointment and we could not be late. Well, my 7 month old was screaming absolute bloody murder because I had to stop holding him so I could get our stuff ready. Well, my boyfriend had a friend over and she was sitting on the sofa watching all this go down. Then she had the nerve to start commenting on my parenting. Saying things like "you really need to learn how to multi task" you need to pick him up, hes obviously crying" among other things. It just made me so mad, would you guys of cared? Or just let it slide?
