My fiancé is stationed four hours away and we’re getting married in March. As we’re planning a wedding, we also have to figure out an apartment. It’s a bit overwhelming and I’m not sure how this should be done on top of planning a wedding. Does the army cover moving costs for me? Also, should we get legally married before the wedding that way we can get paperwork done sooner? I’d love to hear how you did it, because I honestly don’t know how we should get this done. 😅 I want us to have a home to go back to after getting married, rather than waiting because we couldn’t get an apartment off post without BAH/proof of marriage. I’m not sure how long all of that would take. Advice would be appreciated.
