I need some opinions

My boyfriend of one year recently started talking to an old flame. They had apparently been a thing for 6-7 months and she suddenly hit him up again 2 years later. She has a 3 month old baby. Mind you he told me she started talking to him again. I was cool with it cause I trust him.

He had asked me to text his mom off his phone to ask her to pick up some medicine, as soon as I text her a message pops up from ( we’ll call her “J”) J and it says

“ I’d love to have someone like you be her dad”

UM HUH?! SHE KNOWS I EXIST TOO. So I got curious.

So you know. Me snooping I read the other messages. He had previously said

“ I want to stay I your life, everything’s not always rainbows and butterflies with her and I, and maybe were meant to split up to be with the person we’re truly meant to be with”

And you already know when you snoop, you get hurt. SO IM IN A PICKLE WHAT DO I DO.

*LET ME ADD THAT I CAN TELL WHEN MY MAN ID LYING AND I CONFRONT HIM ABOUT IT. SO IVE BEEN ASKING QUESTIONS OF THEIR CONVO AND HE DOESNT TELL ME EVERYTHING, SO I KNEW SOMETHING WAS UP*
