My precious babygirl was born on August 25th 2019. Weighing 7 pounds 9 ounces 20 1/2 inches. I never felt a love like this! My baby girl is here!!! We had fought some battles after you arrived in this world, but we got through it and now your as healthy as can be!! Aaliyah’s body temperature went down dramatically after the nurse gave her her first bath. I was terrified. She had to be on formula for that day just to be able to come home with me In order to gain her blood sugar back at a good level. After taking her home an finally getting settled in, we got a call from her doctor stating that her blood results say that she has jaundice ( they checked only because I was concerned about the yellow areas on her body). So she had to be admitted into the women and children’s hospital again! I cried. Because at first they started to ask me over the phone, was she having some type of seizure like shaking, an they gave me examples how it may look like. All the examples fit what they asked me. I was traumatized! Turns out, the person who called the first time had the wrong baby info. An the second call was actually for my daughters situation. Which was at least not as bad as that first phone call. She had Jaundice. Long story short, she is great now. She is having her weight back. An she is a happy baby! Praise be the Lord!!!!
