Any mommas live in Mt. Pleasant SC?

My family and I will be moving there next summer (2020) from Wyoming! We will not know anyone at all. What are some good areas to live in? And is the school district school of choice? We have middle schooler and elementary aged children. Is it a safe community??

I live in Summerville, SC, but I’ve driven to Mt. Pleasant. Unless you have A LOT of money and a good social reputation, I wouldn’t recommend living there. It’s expensive, crowded (especially with rude/dangerous drivers), snooty/rude, and [comes across as very chic but is actually ordinary]. Other than that, I don’t know much (it just doesn’t live up to its name).
