Transvaginal scan pain

I had my 12 week scan three days ago and the doctor couldn't get a good view of the baby's nose for the nuchal test. She insisted on doing a transvaginal scan which I have done before so I agreed. Once it was in she continually jammed it into my cevix even though I told her it was painful. I tried my best to bare through it but after what felt like half an hour of being rammed (and she shook it too to try to get the baby to move) turned out she couldn't see the nose through the transvaginal scan anyway. It was quite upsetting. To make matters worse I have been experiencing pain in my cervix where she was jamming the scanner into me. It's been three days and it still hurts. 😭😭 I'm convinced she's bruised my vagina and cervix. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
