When is it okay to start buying baby stuff?

Whenever you want. We started buying diapers/wipes, a changing pad and other little non gendered things before I was even pregnant. I have a history of multiple losses but we knew we would have a baby whether it was a natural pregnancy or my best friend being a surrogate. So why not spread out the costs? Babies are expensive

Maybe a few items. I did not get too much though, we got a lot at the baby shower. Then got the rest the month leading up to birth.

Once it was official that I was pregnant I immediately slowly started buying things maybe not gender-specific but I did start buying things immediately buying all that stuff all at once can really add up so since I was such a young mother I spread it out through 9 months LOL plus had Hugnormous baby shower

My mom would tell at me anytime I bought anything before my baby shower. And I'm not planning on having one with this baby (mostly because I don't necessarily want one and because we're across the country this time) but she's still yelling at me for wanting to buy things

Really all were going to start buying is diapers because we found out were having twins! Everything else like clothes we will see what we get later at the baby shower!
