was this wrong of him?

ok so keep up. a friend of mine was telling me a story about another friend of hers. let’s call her lucy so this doesn’t get confusing. lucy went out of town for about 5 days for work, leaving lucy’s husband (let’s call him bob) with her 3 kids (it’s not bob’s kids. he’s their stepdad). so the oldest daughter is 17. the middle daughter is 16 and the youngest is 6. the two younger girls went out, now leaving the stepdad with the oldest daughter. the stepdad has NEVER tried anything with the girls. lucy and bob have been married for almost 10 years now. the girls love him.

fast forward to yesterday evening. the oldest daughter is showering and i think got stung by a scorpion but does NOT handle pain well. she ended up passing out. bob heard the thump from the bathroom and rushed over to see what happened. he knocked on the bathroom door but there was no answer. he called her name but no answer. so he did what he thought he needed to do. he walked in, turned the shower off, put a towel around her and picked her out of the tub. he took her to her bed and tried to wake up. she eventually did but was a little freaked out that he had carried her, naked, but with a towel, to her room. he mentioned it to lucy, who apparently lost her mind. she told her boss she needed to go home and went home to take care of the situation.

okay, now remember: i heard this from my friend. i don’t personally know lucy. my friend is really good friends with her. but what do you think should have been done in this situation? i thought he did the right thing. she could have hit her head in the shower and something could have been seriously wrong. thank goodness that didn’t happen. but he didn’t know that on the other side of the door.
