How many people are giving formula?

My baby is 7 weeks tomorrow and I think I'm going to change to formula. Feel so guilty but it's taking my life over expressing and taking time about from my baby and 2 year old.

Fed is best and there should be no guilt about how that is done. Listen, I teach middle school and I assure you, formula or breastmilk, all these babies will be eating Cheetos off the bus floor in a few years. Do you, mama

I give both breast milk and formula. At the end of the day you also have to do what’s best for your self and your sanity.

I’m lucky enough to have 12 months of mat leave. So bub is EBF.
That being said I had to combo feed after 5 months with my first due to my supply plummeting.
I definitely feel that you need to do whatever works for you and your baby. 💙

We do a combination so I don’t feel overly pressured to constantly pump. It’s worked very well for us and he gets about half and half :)

I just switched this weekend. Bf and pumping were the absolute hell. Both of us are way happier now and have so much time left for cuddles and play time! Weaning off does take so much time though so rather start sooner than later if you want to switch (midwife told me it could take up to a month, my weaning wasnt working so I am now taking medication for it...) if you want to wean off, be sure to look for a weaning schedule meal plan. Good luck momma!

The best thing for your baby is having a mom who is sane and able to care for him, so do what is best for you! And it’s not all or nothing, you can still breastfeed or give breast milk bottles along with formula.

My milk never came in so Baby is formula only. You do what works best for you. Never feel guilty.  A fed baby is the best baby.

I pumped with my oldest for 6 months. After it was evident my son wouldn't latch, I started pumping to feed but could not fathom doing it that lon again.  So I started pushing until I dried up and he is 100% formula and is perfectly healthy.
Don't lose your mind to keep it up.
