Will my period be late due to the pill?

I started the pill about two days ago and im due for my period this week... will it make it late or should it still be the same?

birth control will likely change your cycle, and it could be a little messed up the first three months or so. in which your period could be late or early, or even skipped completely. 
just keep an eye on your cycle (which i assume you do if you’re on this app lol) and talk to your doctor about anything that seems odd!
