How far along am I really?

Just to give a little back story....

My cycles have always been irregular due to me having PCOS, so I never know when or even if I ovulated. Well my last period was July 17th. Prior to that the last time I had sex was January. I've been with my new boyfriend since May, we had sex for the first time on August 24th. Well on September 3rd I started to feel as if my period was about to start. Usually when I start to cramp aunt flo shows right up. Well a couple of days past and still nothing. So I decided to take a hpt on September 6th and it was positive. I tested the next two days as well, still positive. I contacted my doctor to schedule an appointment, I will also have an ultrasound. Do you think it's too early for an ultrasound based on the information I've provided? Is is possible for a sac to be present?I mean its literally only two weeks since I've had sex.

Please note: I'm aware that my mate and I have not been together for very long BUT we both know what we want. I'm 34 and he's 33, we both do not have any children, currently. So please refrain from commenting on the length of time we've been together. Thanks 😊
