stitches?

did anyone else get stitches INSIDE the vagina after giving birth?? if so, when you first had sex again how did it feel? i’m terrified 😅

I did. It was more of a mind thing for me, but honestly after you get the first time out of the way, it’ll get easier and better. Plus since the stitches have healed, and dissolved, the area was getting itchy and I had to satisfy that itch somehow 😂

I did. I had a ton of stitches inside & out & recovery was terrible. My sex life was terrible for a very long time afterwards because it was so painful for me. Praying things will be different with this labor! 😫🤞🏻

I had a couple inside. It felt a little tight and weird the first time but it felt normal after a while!

I think I did with my first. It was rough. Not gunna lie. I didn’t even try till 8 weeks. Didn’t actually do it till 10 weeks. It feels like sandpaper tbh. You’ll feel like it’s to big and certainly it’ll tear again where you had stitches. But once you settle in after the first few minutes you can start to enjoy it and forget about the tear. That took 2-3 times tho. 
But, not to say it doesn’t get better. I felt back to normal about 4 months PP. The more you do it the easier it gets. Use lube. Go slow. Maybe have a drink so you can relax and enjoy it.
