Still Nursing !! Help

So my 2 year old always wants to nurse to go to sleep . Sometimes I tell him no if he wakes up in the middle of the night. Most often than not he cries until I give in and give him the boob. I get asked when will I stop and I think I first want him to stop wanting it . But I really don’t want to continue after 3 years. Idk how to stop giving him that comfort . He has only slept through the night maybe a handful of times in 2 years . How did you wean your 2 year old ??
