Pumping question ?!

I have been exclusively breastfeeding (baby girl is 5weeks old) however have recently gained some interest in pumping a little as it means my mother can give me a hand here n there as I'm a single mum & it can be exhausting !!

Few questions if anyone can help 🙏

Is it okay to just pump a little out (5mins) of only one breast if baby has been sleeping a little longer then usual & the breast starts to fell very full ??

She has been feeding alot so struggle to find time to pump in between as she's not always asleep for very long. Any advice on best times to pump or how to pump without leaving baby nothing for a feed??

I don't need to stock up hugely just be good to have a few bottles on standby so my mum can have her for a small amount of time!
