Who’s bee induced?

Question

Friday im being induced at 37&6 and I want to know what to expect. Been told it’s tablets and breaking my waters normally. Wondering if ill get a call Thursday with a time to come in. Babys measuring big and im scared as my daughter was tiny.

My induction took 3 days and ended in an emergency c section 😩 
I had two pessaries which didn’t progress then won’t into have the drip of Oxytocin.
Take snacks, magazines, iPad, blankets and pillows. It could take a while.

I haven’t been induced but my best friend was at 36 weeks. Be prepared for the possibility of waiting around. She went in on the day she was told only to have to wait all day until they would actually induce her as they needed room in intensive Care for baby.  When they finally did induce her it all started off fairly well, gave her some tablet things to get it started and she stated to progress. Then she hit a wall and after 12 hours hadn’t gone any further, they broke her water to help things along and gave her pitocin. Her exact words were hell broke loose at that point, she progressed extremely quickly then and the contractions were super intense. You obviously don’t have to have it but she was tired and they were suggesting a csection otherwise as baby was starting to struggle. Just as best as you can ask for options and ask to be told as much (obviously as you can listen to in the situation) good luck!! X

That's pretty much it, just depends on how ready baby is some people one tablet's enough and there in Labour within the first few hours some like me it took over 12hrs and 2 tablets before anything started to happen.
I'd recommend taking a good book to pass the time and some headphones and an eye mask incase your stuck on the ward over night.
Also plenty of snacks for both you and your partner.

This can take 5 days to a week before baby comes. Lots of examinations
