Baby shower or no baby shower?

I’m debating on having a shower due to the fact that I’m not really working right now and I don’t have the money for a shower right now. I’m due in January so I feel like if I want to have a baby shower I should plan now right?

If someone wants to throw you a shower then yes accept otherwise you’re better off just buying what you need then spending money on a shower.

I think it makes more sense to spend the money on items you need for the baby, rather than on throwing a party and hoping other people will gift what you need.

If you want to then do it. Do something simple for close family/friends. You don’t have to a venue and catering and all that. I do mine in our backyard cause it’s giant

I would start planning now and let everyone close to you know of dates you’re thinking of. That way you can make a change early on to accommodate people you really really want to attend. I’d also get a venue locked down as soon as you find out the date. Some are hard to get a reservation for or are booked out pretty far. The other things that need to be planned aren’t as time sensitive so just have fun with those and take your time
