So I know the typical recommendation is 28-30 weeks as to when to do a maternity photo shoot but I’m currently 20 weeks and at risk for pre term labor.

My cervix shortened but as of now been considered stable and a decent length (it got longer) since modified bed rest and progesterone.

We’re doing a swab to check for pre term labor at 23+3 and will hopefully know more then.

I’m confident she will stay put for at least the rest of the second trimester as there have been many worse cases / shorter lengths / funneling / dilation etc and everything thankfully is closed and perfect except the length but I’m scared to push for the 29 week photo shoot as everything just gets heavier as time goes on and we would be driving 3 hours from home to stay with my mother in law (this is where the photographer is/ to grab the things my mother in law has bought for the baby)

So figured 29 weeks is pushing it for a mini road trip.

My 26 week option, only concern is hoping my bump will be round enough.

Thoughts? I have a semi round bump now at 20 weeks (third pregnancy, hopefully first baby) so maybe it’ll be just fine?
