Missed periods could be attributed to high stress or changes in body weight / other factors. In addition, the first couple of months of your period are typically irregular. When I first started, I went 3 months without a period. May I ask how old you are?

When I was a virgin, I had just turned 19 and I was on my period for 3 1\2 months and then after I got tests and stuff done it stopped.. And then went back to normal. Worst days of my life..

I'm extremely active and never had sex and I skip a month every once in a while. It's completely normal!
