Choroid Plexus Cysts & Echogenic Bowels

Katrina

So, I went for my 20-week anatomy scan today. Amniotic fluid levels, facial structure, feet and hands, weight, etc all looked great. However, doctor came in and said they found two small things on the ultrasound. One being bilateral Choroid Plexus Cysts (which my mom said I had when she was pregnant with me) , and another being Echogenic Bowels. I’m freaking out as these things could be soft markers for Down’s syndrome or other chromosomal abnormalities...... she sent an order over for a Level 2 Ultrasound at a high risk clinic. Has anyone had both of these found on their ultrasound? If so, what was the outcome? Does anyone know if these two things go hand in hand or totally separate? Need advice as I’m really worried and don’t have the level 2 ultrasound for another 3 weeks.. :(
