Early labor signs

I'm a first time mom, so i have no idea what to expect! I'm 36 weeks and 2 days today, and ALL i think about is labor. Is that normal? I don't know how to tell if I'm having contractions or not. For the past couple days I'm not able to sleep at night, i have lower pains all the time. It hurts for me to walk so far. My CM has increased a ton. Am i just over thinking things? I just have no idea what to expect and I'm freaking myself out!
