So they just called with my NIPT results... I showed that I was a silent carrier for Alphathalassemia... BUT WAIT THERES MORE... I am also carrying the Hemoglobin C Trait. First off I only had the testing done because I was adopted and have no idea about anything genetics wise from my biological family. Secondly, now I’m like “concerned”... Everyone seems to talk about how their NIPT results were normal on here but there is nothing about these blood abnormalities on this app 🤷🏽‍♀️. Anyways, I am having a baby girl 🥰🥰🥰🥰 and I am so happy. I just wanna be sure I am doing what I need to do to ensure my baby is healthy.
