Should schools serve vegetarian-only meals?
A UK school has introduced vegetarian-only meals, for school dinner. This caters to all students and staff - no one is permitted to bring in their own dinner.
3 reasons are given: "Firstly, it allows us to serve better quality meals for the same money. Secondly, there are huge environmental and sustainability benefits. Most importantly, it allows students of all faiths and different dietary requirements to eat together."
In addition to this, all students are provided with a free breakfast. They also have the option to purchase healthy snacks.
What do you reckon, good idea or no?
