I use the patch because I've never been good about remembering to take medicine, so the pill wouldn't have been as good for me. I haven't had any problems with it, and I actually like how it's made my period more regular and less intense. My mom found out about my having sex with my boyfriend in a really bad way, and she's always asked us not to have sex until we're married, but she took me to the gyno and I talked with the doctor about what would be best for me. Everyone is different. My sister uses the pill and it's been fine for her. You just need to talk to a doctor about it.
