Anyone else talk to a deceased love one in your dream before?

Last night I talked to my grandmother and it was almost like a lucid dream it was crazy

My dad passed away unexpectedly (heart attack) when I was 19, and I had an amazing dream with him pretty recently. It made me so happy because it was so realistic.
After my dad died I inherited his house. It was very 80’s so I have been slowly remodeling it over the years. About 4 years after his death, the house is all remodeled except for one bathroom, and this is when this dream took place.
In my dream I’m sitting in my living room watching TV, and my dad walks up and knocks on the door. I open the door and he smiles at me and says “Hey sweetie! I wanted to come see what you’d done with the place!” so I walked him through each room in the house and told him what all I had done in each room since he died. And he was just so excited the whole time.  I was so happy to get to show him all of it. Then at the end of the dream I said, “Want to see what I’ve done in the yard?” and he said “Not today sweetie, I gotta go home.” and then I woke up.

My brother's dad who was like a dad to me. I dreamed about him a few months after his death. He was always giving me life advice. He did the same in the dream.

I had a dream not to long ago my grandfather (died in April) was sitting in the couch with my one bird (died in August 2017). My deceased pets often visit me in dreams. Makes me very sad the next morning.
